The remarkable tradition of Ayurveda medicinal practice has been developed and tested through generations. In many cases this knowledge has been transmitted orally and confined to certain ethnic group. Since time immemorial, Ayurveda physicians called Vaidya and Kaviraj existed in Nepal.
