Tulsi Tea

The queen of herbs is the highest valued plant in Hinduism both nutritionally and medicinally. It is cultivated in every household and worshipped daily as the deity Lord Vishnu.


Throughout ancient Ayurveda, tulsi holds a significant role in the lives of people in Nepal and India. Traditionally, available in every household it’s been told by our grandfathers and grandmothers of its medicinal values. There is a festival dedicated solely to celebrate tulsi.



Boiling for 3 to 5 minutes will release the beneficial properties into the water. Aluminum pots should not be used while preparing any kinds of herbal tea. All herbal teas are free from caffeine.




It helps in prevention and provides reliefs of respiratory illness due to the presence of immunomodulatory and expectorant. It strengthens the immune power of our body. It has compounds that reduce stress and balance the neurotransmitters. It is filled with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and   anti-ageing properties. Its eugenol content helps in relieving pains in joints and the digestive tract. Therapeutically it is used to increase metabolism.




The whole plant is dried to prepare the tea. It is carefully cultivated and manually harvested by the local women at our farm in Bardiya. 




It is not recommended for women during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for further information.
